We want your life at Lincoln to be as comfortable as possible. Our facilities are designed to provide a balanced lifestyle where studies, friendship, and experiences are all equally important parts of the college experience.
Our king single rooms are all well thought out to offer everything you need to feel at home and have access to well-appointed bathrooms and kitchenette facilities. Your room will come fully furnished, with a desk and chair, bookcase, wardrobe, king single bed, pedestal drawers, and small refrigerator.
Our campus is in leafy North Adelaide, one of Adelaide’s most stunning suburbs. With many friendly neighborhood attractions in walking distance; Adelaide Oval, North Adelaide Golf Course, the Aquatic Centre, many restaurants, cafes, and shopping – it is your perfect home base in Adelaide. Lincoln is close to many public transport options and you will be able to walk, ride or skate to Uni in the city within minutes.
Take time to unwind and watch a movie with friends, gather around the table tennis or pool tables, and cheer on your friends. The Common Room is where major events happen and where you’ll discover new interests, make new friends, and create forever memories.
Students have access to computers, printers, photocopiers, and scanners. Most importantly, we have unlimited wifi available throughout the college, including your room.
Our light-filled library is a quiet study space providing the opportunity for individual and group work. Four silent study rooms are also available for individual study and the Milne Room is available for group work and meetings.
Lincoln College provide three separate meals a day, five days a week, including late tea orders for those who have evening commitments. We serve a fully cooked brunch on the weekends, as well as providing a sandwich bar if lunch is also required. We cater to all dietary requirements and we offer a variety of options at each meal.
Each floor has its own kitchenette for student use, with fridges and kettles for some simple snack preparation (and cups of tea on those cold nights!). We also offer two fully equipped student kitchens fitted with refrigerators, ovens, stove tops, and plenty of bench space if you wish to cook something special for yourself or bake some treats for friends.
There’s no reason for dirty laundry. The college laundries are free to use and are fitted with washing machines, dryers, and ironing facilities. You just need to bring a laundry basket and your detergent!
The college has a gym fit with weights and cardio equipment, keeping you active all year round. You also access exclusive discounts for a range of local fitness and pilates studios. Between this, our sports teams, and active college clubs – staying active is easy at Lincoln.
Safety is an important part of college life. All residents have a lockable bedroom. All external building doors and gates are locked at night. A duty tutor and back-up tutor are on call every evening to respond to any issues. Our Deans and College Principal also live on site and will respond to safety and security issues when needed.
Use college to cultivate your creative streak. Our dedicated art studio is a place where you can paint, draw, or even solder to bring your creations to life. Lincoln offers soundproof music studios, with instruments available or you can bring your own. We have a piano in the dining hall that students can use to entertain during mealtimes and participate in “Battle of the Bands” against other residential colleges each year. Our Chapel is home to a second piano.
