Discover Lincoln College Scholarships for 2026 – Applications open Mid-October

Lincoln College is pleased to announce that detailed scholarship information for 2026 is now available on our website. A variety of scholarships offer financial support, helping to ease the costs of accommodation and living while studying in Adelaide. They also celebrate and reward academic excellence, leadership and the many ways students contribute to the life of the college community.

For first-year students, several scholarships are on offer—specifically designed to support those commencing tertiary study. Opportunities include:

  • Dr. Geoff Scott Scholarship – Open to Singaporean and Malaysian students, recognising academic merit and a strong commitment to social justice, diversity and inclusion. Value: 10 weeks remission of fees.
  • First-in-Family Scholarship – For Australian students who are the first in their nuclear family to attend university. Recognises resilience, determination and leadership potential. Value: 8 weeks remission of fees.
  • Playford Trust Lincoln College Residential Scholarship – Supports regional South Australian students commencing a STEM degree, providing financial assistance to make the move to Adelaide more manageable. Value: $8,000 towards residential fees.
  • Means-Tested Financial Assistance – Available to first-year students for whom College fees present a significant barrier. Awards are determined by financial need, academic competency, and potential contribution to college life. Value: Determined by the Head of College and applied as a remission of fees.

For returning students, scholarships recognise academic achievement, leadership and contribution to college and community life. Opportunities include:

  • Ben Henderson Country Students Scholarship – For rural South Australian students. Value: a full year scholarship applied as a remission of fees
  • Dr Andrew Smith and Dr Jane Smith Scholarships – For contributions to college life. Value: at least 8 weeks remission of fees
  • Frank Hambly Memorial Scholarship – For leadership potential and contribution to college, academic life and the wider community. Value: 8 weeks remission of fees
  • Jubilee Scholarship – Recognising the all-round contribution of a second year and above student to academic, community and college life. Value: 8 weeks remission of fees
  • Lincoln College Alumni Association Scholarship – For strong connection and contribution to college. Value: $3000 applied as a remission of fees
  • Means-Tested Financial Assistance – To help ease the cost of residential fees. Value: Determined by the Head of College and applied as a remission of fees.

 

In addition, there is information available about external scholarships, including the Playford Trust and GradReady GAMSAT programs.
