Applying to live at Lincoln is a simple process.

1. Complete the form on this page

You’ll need to upload a recent picture of yourself. Any passport-style photo, school photo, or profile picture will be fine.

2. Vaccination Certificate & a Reference

It is the policy of Lincoln College that from February 10th, 2022, all residents and staff be fully vaccinated*  against COVID-19 to better protect our community. We will need a copy of your vaccination certificate, so please email with a pdf copy of your COVID-19 vaccination record or a screenshot of your digital certificate.

As part of your application, we would also like a written reference – someone who knows you well, and can comment on how you will thrive at university and in College. A schoolteacher or family friend is ideal.
Please also email your written reference to us, if you can, along with your COVID vaccination certificate.

*Fully vaccinated means having had the full COVID -19 vaccination course, as scheduled, including boosters. From January 19, 2022, boosters are now due three months after the second vaccination. We understand that, depending on your date of vaccination, this may mean you have your booster after moving into Lincoln College.

3. Interview at Lincoln

The interview is an opportunity for us to speak with you about whether or not Lincoln College is a good fit for you and vice versa. It’s a chance for you to ask plenty of questions as well.
Once your application has been submitted, the College will contact you to arrange a suitable time for your interview.
The interview can be done in person at Lincoln in conjunction with a tour, or via telephone / Skype / Zoom as preferred.

4. Application Outcome

Successful applicants who are still waiting to hear whether they’ve received a place at university will receive a conditional offer of accommodation. Lincoln College offers become firm when successful applicants accept a university offer in Adelaide and let us know. Please note, if you are offered a place at Lincoln College, it is not secured until you have returned a signed contract and paid your upfront fees.

Rooms are allocated on a first-in, first-served basis and the College fills quickly ahead of each academic year, so we encourage you to apply early.

Please note that in 2022, all staff, new and returning College residents must be able to provide evidence of being fully vaccinated against COVID-19. See our COVID-19 policy statement here
