2. Email a written character reference and an academic reference.
As part of the application process, we kindly request a written character reference and an academic reference from individuals who know you well and can speak to your potential for success both at university and within our college community. Ideally, these references would come from a schoolteacher for academic references and a character reference from either a trusted family friend or employer. Please ensure that the reference is presented on official letterhead and includes contact details for verification purposes. References should be submitted in PDF or Word format. Once you have received the references from your referees, please email them to admin@lincoln.edu.au at your earliest convenience, preferably before your scheduled interview, which is the next stage of the application process. Accommodation offers are generally made once references have been received.
3. Interview
The interview is an opportunity for us to get to know you better and explore whether Lincoln College aligns with what you are looking for, and whether it feels like the right environment for you as well. It is also a great opportunity for you to ask any questions you may have.
Once your application has been submitted, the College will contact you to arrange a suitable time for your interview.
4. Application Outcome
After your interview, you will be notified by email if you have been successful and have been made an offer of a place at Lincoln College. If you are waiting on an ATAR and university offer, the offer of a place at Lincoln College is provisional and dependent on you receiving and accepting a university offer. Your place at Lincoln College is not secured until you have returned your completed contract and paid your upfront fees. You will learn more information about this through the application process.
The College fills quickly ahead of each academic year, so we encourage you to apply early.
